I met a lot of really friendly people at Sonoma County Museum’s Dia de los Muertos Family Day this afternoon. Because of the rain, all the activities were moved inside, but that didn’t dampen the fun in the least! The kids decorated sugar skulls downstairs and I think people really enjoyed having an interesting post-Halloween outing, out of the rain! I had my own little nook to do a Zumba demonstration, and even got some enthusiastic dancers to join me. The colorful altars will be on exhibit through November so stop if you have a chance. This museum is a very interesting blend of art, history and culture – something for everyone to enjoy.
