I packed up the kids in the station wagon for a good old fashioned car-camping trip like those of my childhood. A good time was had by all! We saw some of the world's most beautiful places700750....and Nevada. Got to hook up with my sister, now a Bozeman resident, in Yellowstone, where our Dad used to take us trout fishing every year. The kids learned important things such as: 1. Tent setup 1012. Safe bear viewing techniques3. Telling tall tales4. Do's and Don'ts of the Coleman Stove5. Lowering Ones expectations of the morning routine (i.e. Mom can't make pancakes every day)6. How to start fires like they do on Survivorand 7. How to skip rocksWe finished the trip at the happiest place on earthWe experienced both thrills...... and more contemplative moments.Everyone has a different definition of camping. This is how I like to do it.Wonderful memories!
