I packed up the kids in the station wagon for a good old fashioned car-camping trip like those of my childhood. A good time was had by all!

We saw some of the world's most beautiful places

....and Nevada.

Got to hook up with my sister, now a Bozeman resident, in Yellowstone, where our Dad used to take us trout fishing every year.

The kids learned important things such as: 1. Tent setup 101

2. Safe bear viewing techniques

3. Telling tall tales

4. Do's and Don'ts of the Coleman Stove

5. Lowering Ones expectations of the morning routine (i.e. Mom can't make pancakes every day)

6. How to start fires like they do on Survivor

and 7. How to skip rocks

We finished the trip at the happiest place on earth

We experienced both thrills...

... and more contemplative moments.

Everyone has a different definition of camping. This is how I like to do it.
